Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet mess (spills and staining) in one session without the need to switch out devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer for its affordable price and is one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide gets you running in no time. You'll have a a full dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speeds and exert 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For instance, you can decide to let the robot clean up the kitchen and living rooms but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models cannot. The only issue it has is that it can hit objects and walls at a high speed, but a quick glance at the cleaning history within the app will show you exactly what it's doing, where it's going and what obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station has an LCD display that shows the need for maintenance like emptying the debris and washing the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank using a 600ml bottle of Eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time, with the mop able to operate for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, while the vacuum is can last for 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can also view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is clearly laid out and is easy to comprehend, though we would have liked to be able distinguish between a vacuum and mop and vacuum clean when looking at a clean area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's most popular robot mop and vacuum. It's not like the model from last year it comes with an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has an improved suction capacity, allowing it to pick up small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may overlook.
This Roborock model, like the other two models I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it overcome obstacles like walls, furniture, and other obstacles. affordable robot vacuum goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining whether they're walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its course automatically and clean them without missing a step.
budget robot vacuum 's the most expensive robot I've ever tested however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has just three physical buttons that include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock and a home button that can bring the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin automatically refills.
The only downside I've discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to remove the mount for washing manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of clever features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these via the Roborock app, which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, track the battery life and maintain your components. You'll have to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive available however, it comes with numerous extra features that set it apart. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub that makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and it comes with an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also remove pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and soiled spots.
The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This is an excellent feature as it stops the growth of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models, and it could be a useful way of keeping your home cleaner for longer.
There's an impressive amount of settings on offer, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and alter a variety of preferences. These can be set via the app or direct buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers many options for customising the cleaning routine, and there are many features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles instead of relying on the manual setting.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and elegant. It's heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots on this list - at around 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy, and feels sturdy and well-built.
